Generic Breathing exercise for all (This is a one stop breathing technique for ALL)

With these breathing exercises you would have got rid of ANXIETY / Asthma / Frequent cold cough and hearing and several other hidden problems. These breathing exercises also help in weight loss and you shall feel energetic after every such exercise. These breathing exercises also cured my Spasmodic torticollis which is an extremely painful chronic neurological movement disorder causing the neck to involuntarily turn to the left, right, upwards, and/or downwards. If you are diabetic, Asthmatic or with weight issues then this breathing exercise will help you manage them more realistically. Regardless of any issues one must performance this breathing exercise daily to feel the difference.

As always, I suggest that one must use necessary precautions and follow their own judgement when doing or performing some exercises mentioned in this blog. I have only mentioned exercises that I have practically used myself on day to day basis to get rid of chronic issues that I faced.

BEFORE YOU START BREATHING EXERCISE PLEASE CONSIDER FOLLOWING POINTS:

  • Fast Inhale & Fast Exhale type of breathing will only make you light headed and will cause low blood pressure making you dizzy. This type of exercise will lower your CO2 in blood and thus will cause less O2 to be brought to blood and to cells.
  • No matter how you look at it, the more oxygen you have in your body during and after exercise, the better you will perform and the faster you will recover!
  • CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) is the mechanism we use to DIALTE and open up breathing path. Inhale from mouth shall be avoided. Co2 is also the carrier that brings O2 to cells. Each Co2 build exercise must be followed by O2 build breathing exercises.
  •  We build CO2 by holding/closing the nostril and we try to increase our CO2 tolerance by holding it as much possible (Minimum 45-60 seconds hold while sitting or at least 35-45 walking steps while holding the breath)
  • If you have cardiovascular or heart related issues then you must perform breathing exercises moderately and gradually increase the hold count.
  • You must perform exercise (1) followed immediately by exercise (2) to avoid CO2 (Carbon-Di-oxide) and O2(Oxygen) imbalance.
  • Exercise 2 done in isolation shall help shift breathing to diaphragm which is the right way to breathe. This shall be done not more than 4 times before sleep as doing more will cause you to lose sleep on account of O2 increase.

 

 

EXERCISE (1) (STARTING FROM EXHALE, Build Co2) =======================================================

  1. Select a location either garden or near window where fresh air is available.
  2. Stand in a relaxed position, upright position. Take a small napkin for use.
  3. NOW EXHALE FROM NOSE to remove all air from lungs.
  4. HOLD or PINCH your NOSE and start BRISK WAKING from point A to point B and Point B to Point A. Count number of times you covered each point.
  5. Ideal hold time is minimum 45-60 seconds when done in sitting position and at least 35-45 Steps when done in walking from point A to Point B and reverse.
  6. YOU MUST Hold till STRONG URGE TO BREATH. Also during breathe hold during exercise (1) concentrate on stomach and not nostrils as you must feel your stomach filling up with hold air (co2) to get the max benefits. Release your nose only when you feel that your stomach can not take the pressure any more. Use your stomach power to decide the nose release. During the hold process feel the pressure building inside stomach and forget the nose pressure. Your stomach pressure (max) shall decide the release of nose.
  7. Release your nose, and do your breathing in a pattern as described in exercise (2) below. Do this exercise (2) for at least 8-12 times for each exercise(1) step
  8. For every step of exercise (1) you will perform minimum 8-12 steps of exercise (2) when releasing nostril after a pinch hold.

 

 

EXERCISE (2) Get your body more OXYGEN with help of Exercise-1 above ====================================================

  • We will always breathe using this technique.
  • Stand up straight in walking position Or, Lie on the floor or bed face up with knees slightly bent Or just sit down with torso in upright position.
  • Close your mouth and prepare it to take deep inhale. You will notice your mouth taking a monkey like upper and lower jaws shape.
  • Place your one hand lightly on your stomach and other hand on your chest.
  • Take a forceful Deep inhale through NOSE using power of nose as if you are trying to reach the inhaled air to stomach area making sure stomach is inflated to maximum (explicitly) after each such powerful inhale. You shall hear a coarse noise with each inhale since you are doing a very forceful deep inhale taking in as much air possible in a single inhale.
  • At the point when the stomach is complete inflated to maximum, hold for one (1) seconds before next forceful exhale with a snap.
  • Let the stomach fall naturally when breathing out by relaxing the diaphragm.
  • You must do minimum of 8-12 such deep inhale exhales when followed by breathing exercises (1) in morning. This will strengthen your upper jaw area and sensitive nostrils.
  • Use power of your Nose and belly / Diaphragm to inhale air through nose for each step.
  • Do exercise (2) in isolation for 4-5 (max) repeats just before sleep, before or after every meal to shift the breathing to diaphragm. You must explicitly inflate the stomach to maximum during each inhale.
  • All the above steps in exercise-2, shall also be done also just before sleep (4-5 times maximum) and immediately after you wake up and also before you walk or even after every meal during initial period. This will help activate diaphragm breathing which is inactivated somehow as of now.

 

 

Okay just follow these steps (1-2)

  1. 3-4 times, perform exercise (1) immediately followed by exercise (2) as mentioned in exercise (1). For each exercise 1, you must perform 8-12 times of exercise 2.
  2. Also just before sleep (sleep on your back position)you must use exercise (2) in isolation [not with exercise (1)] (4-5 times maximum) to activate diaphragmDuring this time Use power of your Nose & belly / Diaphragm to inhale as much air through nose for each step and making sure that chest is still and only belly is inflating to maximum. You must do this every day every time just before sleep and after you wake up (4-5 times max). You must explicitly inflate the stomach to maximum during each inhale.

  1. Also during breathe hold during exercise (1) concentrate on stomach and not nostrils as you must feel your stomach filling up with hold air (co2) to get the max benefits. Release your nose only when you feel that your stomach can not take the pressure any more. Use your stomach power to decide the nose release. During the hold process feel the pressure building inside stomach and forget the nose pressure. Your stomach pressure (max) shall decide the release of nose. Then, immediately you must follow this with O2 build exercise (2).

Following TEXT in this blog is basically collection of various information and important points related to rebuilding /preventing formation of tooth cavities with natural ways.  As always, I suggest that one must use necessary precautions and follow their own judgement when doing or performing some steps mentioned in this blog. I have only listed steps that I have performed for getting rid of sensitive tooth and rebuild tooth cavity. In Ayurveda we use FOOD as MEDICINE and most of time is able rebuild what was lost because of long time misuse of harmful food lifestyle.

 

The CAUSE OF TOOTH DECAY OR CAVITIES:

Enjoy too many acid-rich foods and drinks and you could erode the outer covering of your teeth, called enamel, and expose the tender layer beneath, called dentin. Don’t want to give up these tart favourites? Cut the acid with a piece of cheese or glass of milk after eating. Decay, like this cavity, exposes the root of your tooth to a host of irritants: hot, cold, sweets, even air. The best ways to battle decay and keep your teeth in top form are to practice good oral hygiene, eat right, and see your dentist regularly.

Brushing regularly will clear away food residue and starve the bacteria, keeping its growth in check. In the absence of brushing, the carbohydrates that linger the longest can cause the most damage. The real cause of tooth decay is the deficiency of vital nutrients fat-soluble vitamins A D E K, calcium; phosphorus, potassium and other minerals. Also FLUORIDE may prevent RE-MINERALIZATION of tooth cavities that is why fluoride toothpaste must be avoided to enable REMINERALIZATION of tooth during the repair process.

INGREDIENTS we NEED:

Dried Clove seeds/buds, Black Sesame seeds (contain minerals required for remineralisation), HERBAL / AYURVEDIC / NATURAL TOOTH PASTE, Wheatgrass powder for swishing mouth for 2 -3 weeks, Regular MILK & CHEESE without sugars. You must avoid acid forming food like MEAT, SUGAR, and processed foods during repair process.

 

 

STEPS to recovery:

  • For next several weeks swish your mouth with wheatgrass powder added to water (1tsp added to water). If you are swishing then throw this water away after each swish. You may also use Apple cider vinegar added water for swishing.
  • It is SALIVA that will bring minerals to the teeth so chew or eat black sesame seeds after finishing every meal or snack. SESAME seeds are very alkaline and help create alkaline environment in mouth thus preventing DE-MINERALIZATION of teeth. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP YOUR MOUTH ALKALINE DURING REPAIR PROCESS hence eating sesame seeds after every meal or snack is very important step for next few months. Always keep a jar of black sesame / cloves seeds handy to be used after every meal or snack. Just 1 small TSP of sesame seeds or 3-4 cloves is enough after every meal.
  • Also chew and eat Clove seed (3-4, at least 3 times a day) after every major meal for next several months. This is to prevent bacterial infusion of teeth’s.
  • You may also cut the acid in mouth with a piece of cheese or glass of milk after eating.
  • USE NATURAL toothpaste like Earth Toothpaste, vicco vajradanti or any other AYURVEDIC or HERBAL toothpaste which does not have fluoride as fluoride may prevent remineralisation as per available studies.
  • The idea is to keep environment in mouth ALKALINE after every meal so eating sesame seeds and cloves after meal is a important step in preventing demineralisation of teeth’s and preventing cavities in future.

HOW TO CURE COLD / STREP THROAT NATURALLY

** The method described below must be exercised by you only using your correct judgement or if you feel that what is written may work for you. Please exercise your own judgement when following the method or steps below. Some principals of AYURVEDA & Breathing exercises are used. This is not a sure shot method so you may talk to your doctor to get better idea. I just describe below what I did when severe form of cold struck on me**

When the COLD / STREP Throat struck

==============================

It starts with a runny nose which goes on for several hours or 1-2 days at least draining all your salts from body making you feel feverish (without fever) , tired and fatigued. The side effect could be a strep throat where you feel as if your throat is like a coarse paper.

 

The Ingredients you need:

===================

Cayenne pepper (Red chillies powder) gargle for throat 3-4 times a day, ELECTROLYTE POWDER (It works by replacing electrolytes and carbohydrates in the body to prevent dehydration), PRANAYAM technique to open up breathing path and Sinuses without use of inhalers, Warm water one glass every two hours occasionally added/mix with a pinch (0.5 gram) of turmeric powder and good old Vicks vaporab.

 

Steps to manage the cold / strep throat

============================

  1. We will let the cold run its course which may take 1-2 days or more. During this time:
  2. Gargle the throat with Cayenne pepper added water 3-4 times a day to prevent strep throat.
  3. Drink Warm water every 1-2 hours (sometimes add a pinch of turmeric powder to water)
  4. Use vicks vaporub at night for inside nostrils.
  5. If not able to breathe because of closing of sinuses or breathing path, use BREATHING EXERCISE several times in a day to open up sinuses without use of inhalers.

Just take a small INHALE from one nostril (alternate between left and right nostril) while closing the other nostril and pinch close your nostril (using index finger and thumb) and hold breathe for at least 20-30 seconds (Or to the point where you feel like taking another breathe) and then exhale slowly from other nostril for each step. FLEX YOUR NOSTRIL DURING PINCH HOLD OF nostrils using the air pressure that is built during hold. If you have a FORCEFUL exhale after hold, then you have hold for good time. Repeat this till you feel that sinuses have opened up.

  1. After the cold/runny nose has stopped, the feeling of being fatigued or tiredness will continue as your body fluids with electrolytes loss has weakened your immune system. During this time you may decide to use one Electrolyte powder drink daily for 2-3 days or till you feel good. I felt good just after 2 such electrolyte drinks. Please look for side effects and dosage for electrolyte yourself.

The other way is to drink Coconut water daily till the fatigue is gone.

  1. Apart from this, I used over the counter dry cough syrups and herbal remedies like hot soups and warm milk added with a pinch of turmeric powder and coconut water or NEEM/TULSI capsules alongside to carry on smoothly during the cold attack.
  2. Also it helps to shift you breathing pattern to belly rather than from chest or nose, meaning we use belly to breathe IN. During this process during Breathing IN the stomach INFLATES and during exhale STOMACH collapses. You would notice calm breathing where Nose is idle and hence no sound of breathing comes. This technique also prevents hyperventilation which is prime cause of COLD as free particles generated on account of hyperventilation (rapid breathing) must be removed through nose in form of cold symptoms.

DIAPHRAGMATIC BREATHING (breathing from belly) to prevent hyperventilation (rapid breathing)

  • Sit comfortably in an upright chair. When you are first learning, it may be helpful to lie down on the floor or a bed, which makes it easier for your abdomen to expand and contract with each breath.
  • Rest one hand on chest and other hand lightly on your abdomen/belly, about one inch above your navel. You must experience belly rising during correct process.
  • Inhale gently, expanding your belly as you do so. You should feel your belly expanding beneath your hand during each INHALE. If chest is expanding during inhale then you are doing it wrong. Consciously feel your belly inflating during each inhale.
  • Exhale softly, contracting/collapsing your belly as you do so, feeling it contract. During exhale you can see your stomach flattening or going in.
  • Do above steps at least 5 times every day just before you go to sleep to shift the breathing to belly. You will notice this brings in SOUNDLESS breathing as instead of NOSE your belly is used for each INHALE.

If you are one of those who experienced frequent cold cough issues then you have reached the right blog. Normal people face cold cough issues 2-3 times a year but some of us face these many times a year and sometimes once every month or every few weeks. It was almost impossible to sit under running fan and drink anything cold. Frequent cold cough causes necessary body salts to be consumed and hence you always feel fatigues after each episode of cold cough specially if have frequent episodes of these. Hence consumption of coconut water or electrolytes after each episode may help us recover fast from fatigue caused by frequent cold coughs.

With these breathing exercises you would have got rid of ANXIETY / Asthma / Frequent cold cough and hearing and several other hidden problems.

These breathing exercises also cured my Spasmodic torticollis which is an extremely painful chronic neurological movement disorder causing the neck to involuntarily turn to the left, right, upwards, and/or downwards

We will use following mechanism to bring this problem of frequent cold cough /Asthma to end:-

  • We may have weak lungs and diaphragm which are inactive or weak or stiff.
  • We have wrongly shifted the breathing to nose during sleeping pattern, sleeping on stomach may cause breathing to shift to nose area causing shallow breathing.
  • Strengthen LUNGS with help of CO2 build exercise that dilate the breathing path. Learn to shift your built co2 during breathing exercises to belly area (diaphragm).
  • Strengthen and activate DIAPHRAGM with help of specific exercises to make sure that during walking and sleeping we are using belly/diaphragm to breathe and avoid breathing through nose. We have to avoid shallow breathing that is done through nose.
  • Shallow breathing is nothing but our diaphragm is weak , stiff, lazy and is not able to pull air with force to inside causing the air to accumulate which in turn through the action of osmosis gets converted to humidity and thus causes frequent colds.
  • Learning to breathe in specific manner as described in exercise (2). Bend your torso a little backward while walking or doing all breathing exercises (this lets accumulated tiredness [CO2] pass on to stomach rather than the chest area). You must learn to pass on the built up tiredness {Co2} to the stomach area.

The mechanism to frequent cold cough cure is simple and can be followed easily. 1) Clear or Open up breathing path with Co2 build exercised which are immediately followed by O2 build exercises that fill lungs with fresh O2 and also making sure NEVER TO INHALE through MOUTH throughout the day or in sleep. 2) Exercise that strengthens Diaphragm and the upper jaw and sensitive nostrils through forceful deep inhale and forceful exhales 8-12 times in one go.

In shallow breathing you see your chest area inflating and deflating with each breath or inhale exhale. This shallow breathing is what causes free particles in breathing path thereby giving bacteria and viruses much needed humid space to reside in humid environment thus created inside breathing path.

Ideally your stomach /diaphragm inflate up with each inhale and goes flat with each exhale. This is the breathing that we have to achieve to get rid of cold cough issues. If your stomach is flat while breathing means you may have weak diaphragm and must be resolved through right breathing exercises.

The two pronged approach of opening up Nose Airways/breathing path (through increasing Co2 tolerance) and DIAPHRAGM STRENGTHENING along with shifting breathing to diaphragm just before sleep is used to get rid of the problemYOU MUST reach a minimum breathe hold (exercise 1) of 45-60 seconds when done in sitting position or at least 35-45 steps when done in walking style from point A to Point B.

In AYURVEDA they believe that any chronic disease with “FOOD AS MEDICINE” along with PRANAYAM or BREATHING EXERCISES can cure most of diseases and somehow with my own personal experience I have come to believe that it is true most of time. I have resolved my cold cough issues following these exercises and after around 8-10 months of research on myself when performing these breathing exercises.

  • During cold, First thing in morning I would gargle with Cayenne pepper added WATER. Add 3-4 gram of cayenne pepper (Red chillies powder) to half glass of water and use this water for gargle to avoid strep throat during cold infection.

 

EXERCISE (1) (STARTING FROM EXHALE, Build Co2) for Asthma and Lungs Strengthening

  1. Select a location either garden or near window where fresh air is available.
  2. Stand in a relaxed position, upright position. Take a small napkin for use.
  3. NOW EXHALE FROM NOSE to remove all air from lungs. Bend your torso a bit backward to let it easy for stomach to fill the air accumulated.
  4. HOLD or PINCH your NOSE and start BRISK WAKING from point A to point B and Point B to Point A. Count number of times you covered each point. Feel the stomach filling up with hold air (CO2), and do not concentrate on nose.
  5. Bend your torso a little backward while walking or doing all breathing exercises (this lets accumulated tiredness [CO2] pass on to stomach rather than the chest area). You must learn to pass on the built up tiredness {Co2} to the stomach area.
  6. Ideal hold time is minimum 45-60 seconds when done in sitting position and at least 35-45 Steps when done in walking from point A to Point B and reverse.

EXERCISE (2) ACTIVATE / STENGTHEN DIAPHRAGM and also to strengthen upper jaw area and sensitive nostrils, exercise to get rid of frequent cold cough issues that you see first thing in morning

Exercise (2) in ISOLATION (Not with exercise [1]) steps to be done just before and after sleep

  • Sleep on your back in your bed.
  • Place your one hand lightly on your stomach and other hand on your chest.
  • Take a forceful Deep inhale through NOSE using power of nose as if you are trying to reach the inhaled air to stomach area making sure stomach is inflated to maximum (inflate the stomach explicitly if required during each inhale) after each such powerful inhale. You shall hear a coarse noise with each inhale since you are doing a very forceful deep inhale taking in as much air possible in a single inhale.
  • At the point when the stomach is complete inflated to maximum, hold for 1-2 seconds before next forceful exhale with a snap.
  • Let the stomach fall naturally when breathing out by relaxing the diaphragm.
  • Do this maximum 4-5 times only. If you do more you will lose your sleep because of excess intake of oxygen.
  • Do Exercise (2) in ISOLATION just before sleep and after you wake up on every day basis. This will shift your breathing to diaphragm during sleep which is the real reason for free particle’s build-up.

 

 

Okay just follow these steps (1-3) to recover from Asthma Cold Cough issues

During cold infection First thing in morning gargle with Cayenne pepper added water. Add 3-4 gram of cayenne pepper (Red chillies powder) to half glass of water and use this water for gargle.

  1. 1-2 times, Perform exercise (1) FOR EACH NOSTRIL (2; starting from exhale), hold till strong urge to breathe again). When exhaling, PINCH-HOLD ONE NOSTRIL and EXHALE FROM OTHER NOSTRIL FOR EACH STEP. During exhale, do Inhale exhales from only one nostril keeping other nostril closed and reverse this for each nostril. Perform at least 2 times for each nostril
  1. 3-4 times, perform exercise (1) along with exercise (2) as mentioned in exercise (1)

Also just before sleep (sleep on your back position) you must use exercise (2) in isolation [not with exercise (1)] (4-5 times maximum) to activate diaphragmDuring this time Use power of your Nose & belly / Diaphragm to inhale as much air through nose for each step and making sure that chest is still and only belly is inflating to maximum. You must do this every day every time just before sleep and after you wake up (4-5 times max). You must explicitly inflate the stomach to maximum during each inhale.

  1. YOU MUST NEVER sleep on stomach (initial period of 2-3 months during exercises) as doing so may interfere with diaphragm breathing resulting in free particle creation and cold cough issues when you wake up.
  2. Bend your torso a bit backward to let it easy for stomach to fill the air accumulated.
  3. Bend your torso a little backward while walking or doing all breathing exercises (this lets accumulated tiredness [CO2] pass on to stomach rather than the chest area). You must learn to pass on the built up tiredness {Co2} to the stomach area.
  4. All Inhales must be done using technique described for shifting breathe to stomach area i.e. place one hand on chest , other on stomach to feel that breathing is being done using diaphragm / belly and you see your stomach INFLATING to maximum with each inhale making sure that your chest is still during breathing.
  5.  Also during breathe hold concentrate on stomach and not nostrils as you must feel your stomach filling up with hold air (co2) to get the max benefits. Release your nose only when you feel that your stomach can not take the pressure any more. Use your stomach power to decide the nose release. During the hold process feel the pressure building inside stomach and forget the nose pressure. Your stomach pressure (max) shall decide the release of nose.
  6. Just before sleep (sleep on your back position) you must do exercise (2) in isolation not more than 4-5 (maximum) to shift breathing to diaphragm.

MY RECENT BRUSH WITH ACIDOSIS

Yes, as I have mentioned before that we are acidity prone Individuals hence food that require lots of acid release (Red meat, it must be banned for life for acidity prone persons) must be avoided. I had avoided it (Red meat) for more than2 years but recently gave in to temptation and started eating 2-3 portions whenever I had chance. Eventually I had a lot of Red meat one day (7-8 pieces) and that did it. I was back to same feeling of burning pain in abdomen and it became reality that DEVIL had caught me again and I must now pay the price. But since I had the program ready I instead caught the devil by head and came out of it in just flat 2 weeks, which was the fastest recovery time knowing fully well that it took months last 2 times to recover. But I am a man of 100% discipline so that always gets me out of trickiest situations that I face in life.

What Happened

===============

I knew that I had done wrong by eating too much red meat so kept a watch. By 5-6 hours after meal burning pain in stomach started which was a sign that the sensitive area (leaky gut area) in my stomach has opened up again and is now signalling a coming ACIDOSIS.

The symptoms were clear, first thing it did was to consume electrolytes (alkaline reserves) to maintain PH level, which made me feel fatigued and drowsy and also the resulting stress slowed the stomach down signalling I cannot eat heavy foods. The stomach that is slowed will cause acid release as soon as it senses that the food is NOT MOVING and if you had no meat and just carbohydrates and fats as meal, entire load of acids will need to neutralized which will consume ELECTROLYTES from your body making you feel weak and fatigued.

Remember, acids are needed to digest PROTEIN but if your food did not contain PROTEIN (Meat) the acid release (which would not have happened if stomach was NOT SLOWED down) will cause ACID INDIGESTION meaning Acids have got released in absence of protein (meat) thus to neutralize so much acids (which would have otherwise be consumed by meat in normal situations) alkaline reserves (electrolytes) are consumed on daily basis making you fatigued and weak all along.

So if you think why NOT HAVE meat with all meals? Well this is a Paradox situation for you. Your Leaky stomach will not survive if acid is released frequently to digest the protein and hence you must avoid eating meat. And to avoid acid release during other meal you must EAT MEAL that is LIGHT, VEGETARIAN and is cooked on slow flame for less than 8 minutes or just eat boiled meal so that it is light to stomach and can move easily.

Then why do people with NO LEAKY GUT also suffer with high acidity? This is because of ACID REBOUND effect of PPI (ACID BLOCKER medicine) that you took that has created a lot of ACID WASTE in your body system thus slowing down stomach. Once stomach slows down it causes ACID RELEASE after meal because it assumes that since FOOD is NOT MOVING acid must be released to destroy the food.

In fact when ACIDOSIS struck; the first one week the meal shall be just boiled without even a TRACE of oil, with lots of CAYENNE pepper to heal the burned part of stomach. Also L GLUTAMINE powder along with MULTIPLE AMINO ACIDS powder to heal the gut which would take at least 7-10 days.

Steps I took to immediate remedy

  1. 2 TSP of baking soda dissolved in water immediately after sensing burning pain in stomach. Also drink COLD MILK WITHOUT SUGAR to sooth stomach.
  2. Next if you are NAUSEATED and cannot eat food despite hunger, HAVE CAROM SEED’s boiled water. This shall take away NAUSEA soon.
  3. A quick dosage of ELECTROLYTE to cure fatigue and drowsiness.
  4. Stopped all intake of tea coffee or anything that will stimulate stomach.
  5. Immediately switched to BOILED VEGAN FOOD (boiled RICE/plain yogurt MOSTLY avoiding all kinds of flour).This Veg food must be prepared on low flame and shall not contain even a trace of cooking oil for first one week. Avoid curried food here.
  6. Take steps to cleanse the ACID WASTE by having daily twice Wheat grass powder in water , Black Raisins soaked water (Soaked for 8-10 hours) , 1 TSP Cayenne pepper water to heal the stomach of all ACID WASTE.
  7. All snacking MUST BE ALKALINE only beet, carrot, cucumber etc.
  8. L GLUTAMINE Pure powder and also MULTIPLE AMINO ACIDS powder in water TWICE A DAY to enable fast healing of stomach along with cayenne pepper with water.
  9. Sprinkle ORGANIC SALTS like Black salt/ Pink Himalayan salts and Red Chillies powder on all meals for faster healing and drain acid waste.
  10. TRIPHLA (HIMALAYA brand is my choice) AFTER EVERY MEAL to cleanse stomach of acid waste and support MOTILITY which is now affected as stomach is stressed after a lots of burning due to acids. The TRIPHLA is initially hard on stomach and you may feel that it is causing acidity but that is not the case.
  11. After 7-10 days you would have started on regular Vegetarian meals slowly increasing STRONG food contents. You must gradually add strong content in food.
  12. Food can now be cooked with 1-2 TSP oil if required after 1st week of eating light food.
  13. Strictly avoid SUGAR, MEAT, PROCESSED FOOD, and FRIED FOOD. All other strong food like white flour must be gradually added to meal. Fried food shall be tried one BITE at a time till your stomach is able to accept it without any stress.
  14. MEAT to be avoided for next 8-12 weeks. RED MEAT MUST BE BANNED FOR LIFE. I have learnt that sticking to moderate eating of RED MEAT in real life IS NOT POSSIBLE and you do not want to take chance of ACIDOSIS RETURNING again.
  15. For me after 3’rd time I have learnt my lesson and have banned the RED MEAT FOR LIFE.

Following TEXT in this blog is basically collection of various information and important points related to STYE or CHALAZION and then my way of dealing with this issue through home remedies. As always, I suggest that one must use necessary precautions and follow their own judgement when doing or performing some of cure mentioned in this blog.

Internal HORDEOLUM (Stye) is a bacterial infection of one of the meibomian glands in the eyelid.

Clinical Treatment: The clinical manifestations of this case showed a root deficiency with excessive symptoms manifesting at the surface, along with unresolved pathogenic heat ascending to attack the eyelid. Treatment should start by addressing the unresolved pathogenic heat. After the heat is resolved, treatment should then focus on correcting the root deficiency. Treatment Principles: Strengthen the spleen to supplement qi and promote the discharge of pus.

Initially it starts with a lump either on top of eyelid (external stye) or inside of eyelid (Internal stye). You can clearly see that there is a SEED (small lump) where pathogen or virus has taken residence and is causing surroundings to swell and create pus. It is this seed area we must deal with before going in for pus removal or taking care of swelling around eyelid. The usual method recommended by doctor would be applying HOT COMPRESS along with antibiotic drops till the problem is resolved. The doctor may also recommend oral antibiotic if the eye drops did not work. Finally if eye drops and oral antibiotic do not work then doctors usually suggest small surgery or incision to remove pus from eyelids. External Stye are easy to treat and can usually be treated with applying antimicrobial solution to affected eyelids and are resolved quickly. It is this INTERNAL STYE that may not get resolved with just antibiotic eye drops and usually require oral antibiotic to kill the pathogen first followed by either hot compress to gradually remove pus or using cayenne pepper drops.

Usually in my experience whenever the eye swell started I would immediately start multiple COLD PRESS (2-3 times a day) with ICE CUBES (2-3) wrapped in handkerchief and applying it on affected eyelids along with stopping consumption of all HOT DRINK’s like TEA COFFEE as it was clear that the PATHOGEN or VIRUS inside eyelid seed (stye) was sensitive to heat and thus avoiding HEAT causing liquids and applying cold press with ice cubes would take away the problem quickly. Also it does help to apply antimicrobial solution to affected eyelid especially around seed area. I would apply honey or castor oil or paste of NEEM or apply Apple side vinegar on affected eyelids. Organic Honey, castor oil can also be put as 1-2 drops inside eyes. The USUAL recommendation of applying HOT COMPRESS is NOT RECOMMENDED till you have taken care of PATHOGEN or VIRUS residing in SEED area of eyelid as heat will only make it swell more as the pathogen seems very sensitive to heat. The first step shall be always to destroy the virus residing in seed. IN FACT HOT COMPRESS is never recommended during Stye removal. Yes, hot compress may help initially if STYE is converted into a CHALAZION which is very hard lump where pus has dried inside.

TREATMENT METHOD and STEPS:

============================

  1. Quickly wash face & eyelids with soap water and start with COLD COMPRESS with 2-3 ice cubes wrapped in either wet handkerchief or thin wet cloth and apply it multiple times in a day.
  2. Stop consumption of all heat causing liquids like Tea Coffee till you have taken care of pathogen or virus residing in SEED area (lump) around eyelid.
  3. For pathogen or virus removal from stye seed do one of following:
  • Put 2-3 drops of antibiotic organic honey inside eye, usually available in form of herbal or AYURVEDIC solution (Jiwadaya Netraprabha )in stores.
  • Apply a brush of Apple cider vinegar on seed and surrounding area on eyelid. Do not put ACV inside the eye.
  • Apply NEEM paste on seed and surrounding area.
  • But if your STYE is internal you may have to use Hydrogen Peroxide solution (2% solution) method described below. This will kill PATHOGEN instantly. IN FACT this method is the EASIEST way to take care of Stye virus and result is seen in minutes. As the virus is destroyed the pain is instantly gone and all that is left is to take care of is swelling and pus created by virus that shall be discharged with hot compress on eyelids for few days. During hot compress put some pressure on eyelids.
  • For PUS REMOVAL after killing of pathogen use HOT COMPRESS regularly for few days. During hot compress put some pressure on eyelids.
  • Local herbal and other solutions that can be applied directly to style area examples: Apple cider vinegar, Jiva daya netraprabha (ayurvedic), Clove oil, Neem paste, Glycerine. Please research more of such solutions which are safer to be used.
  • Last but not the least use saline water or salted water few drops 2-3 times daily specially before sleep inside affected eye till the lump and pus is removed from affected eye. Also wash your eyes regularly with soap water to avoid frequent stye problem.

 

In a nutshell

**************

  1. Make sure to perform this activity At washbasin making sure that water is available in case you need to splash it into eyes if burning etc during this activity below. You may use cotton tips (ear buds) for this activity.
  2. Wash your eyelids and eye linings with soap (once)
  3. Apply a brush of apple cider vinegar (ACV) to eyelids making sure that it does not go inside of eyes. Locate the seed area (where it pains the most on eyelids) and make sure to use brush of ACV slightly more there.
  4. If the lump is starting at eye liners close eyelids and just touch ACV slightly at the spot so that ACV drops don’t go into eyes.
  5. You may also use jivdaya netraprabha or any antibiotic drops for Inside of eyes.
  6. If you feel the relief after ACV application to seed area you may continue this for few more times every few hours. If not then you may use other options like Clove oil (This is very strong so just a brush of 1-2 drop is sufficient) or 5ml-10 ml of h2o2 (diluted to around 2%) or apply few drops of glycerine on eyelids etc. See what works best for you.
  7. If the eyelids are burning or sizzling you may also apply baking soda powder (not baking powder) on top of eyelids which will sooth your eyes.
  8. After the pathogen inside of sty is destroyed it leaves lump and pus behind which can be cleared by all these steps. A) regular hot compress on eyelids b) use paste of turmeric powder on eyelids (make it slightly wet with few drops of water)
  9. Finally at end do this (trust me I have done this several times so no worries) , take a small piece cotton and apply/spread lots of hot red chillies powder (Cayenne pepper) on it and then close your eyelids (not inside of eyes) and with palm pressure apply this cotton to your affected eyelids or both eyelids. Close your eyes and hold this cotton on eyelids for at least 30 minutes and then you can wash your eyes. This step will remove all the blurriness and bring the eye vision and clarity back. In case of injuries by burn or ulcers this is the only method that rebuilds the damaged tissues as Cayenne pepper is capable of repairing them quick. You only have to accept little burning that happens because of application cayenne pepper (red chillies powder) at the spot affected.
  10. Last but not the least use saline water or salted water few drops 2-3 times daily specially before sleep inside affected eye till the lump and pus is removed from affected eye. Also wash your eyes regularly with soap water to avoid frequent stye problem.
  11. Good Luck and do not forget that you must apply your own discretion in following all steps in this blog and use your proper judgement to either use this method or not to get rid of your stye issues.

       

CASE STUDY OF MY RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH STYE on UPPER EYELIDS

So recently I had to go through this again however this time I found that h2o2 did not work for me!

To think of it now, I should have first tried with Apple cider vinegar (preferably organic ACV) first before going for stronger clove oil application to stye.

 

 

Stage 1

=========

You get itching around lining of eyelids. This is the stage where the virus or bacteria is not yet strong.

Do one of following:-

  1. Stop consumption of all heat causing liquids like Tea Coffee till you have taken care of pathogen or virus residing in SEED area (lump where you feel the pain most) around eyelid.
  2. Apply cold press (ice cubes in wet handkerchief)
  3. Wash your eye & eyelids with a soap (just once)
  4. Apply any of local herbal/Ayurvedic solutions like Jivdaya netraprabha OR

Apply Apple cider vinegar on seed and surrounding area. Do not put ACV inside the    eye. OR

Any other herbal oral antibacterial/anti-viral solution (usually 1-2 drops only)

 

But of all of above does not work then you have reached stage-2 where virus/bacteria is taken a strong hold.

In this case:

 

 

 

STAGE-2

=========

  1. Either go to the doctor and they will prescribe Anti biotic drops / Anti biotic tablets / antibiotic gel for eyelid linings. In my case none of these got any results as politics around anti biotic (super bug myth) has resulted in creating antibiotics of lesser strength and they either do not work or work only 50% leaving you helpless as now doctors must remove pus from eyelids using a small scission which is like a small surgery and hence a good amount of costs to a patient.
  2. Doctors also will recommend hot compress on eyelids which in turn aggravates the pathogen or virus inside the eye lid making it release large amount of pus hence you see your eyelids going bulging out bigger quickly.
  3. The hot compress bring the seed area of eyelids where the pathogen/virus resides to come out in open and visible so that it can be dealt with later. Applying Baking soda powder [eating soda as we call it] (not baking powder) on eyelids just before sleep will sooth the eyelids and you can avoid sizzling eyelids while you are on hot compress. Baking soda is also an active ingredient for most acidity users as it quickly controls the acidity in stomach.
  4. But this hot compress makes your eyelids and surrounding as if they are sizzling and hence you feel a lot of uncomforting especially if antibiotic that were prescribed by doctors yield no results and they don’t in most cases.
  5. The idea of hot compress is to NOT make stye get converted into a CHALAZION which is a hard lump and is difficult to remove later.
  6. I only DEFER here in a sense that hot compresses must be used ONLY AFTER pathogen or virus residing in see area (area of eye lids where you feel the pain most) has been taken care of with either antibiotics tablets issues by doctors or one of local herbal antibiotic solutions (1-2 drops) that we apply directly to seed area and surroundings of eyelids which immediately kills the virus leaving only the puss generated and lump to be removed later using hot compress.
  7. You must convince the doctor to give you a local solution (which can be applied to eyelids directly) that can be applied to style as that works immediately. But remember that doctors are programmed to give you prescription in form of antibiotic drops and tablets avoiding direct solution application to eyelids as that’s not profitable for them.
  8. I therefore recommend cold compress till the virus is active on eyelids and after it is killed and you feel no pain or sizzling eyelids then use hot compress to get

rid of rest of lump and pus left behind.

  1. I also recommend you to find and keep track of herbal / natural/Ayurvedic / Homeopathic ANTIBACTERIAL/ANTIVIRAL solutions that can be applied directly to stye next time it happens as that gives results more quick. Keep your research ON this matter and collect as much info as you can.

 

 

 

 

 

How to use local herbal or ayurvedic antibacterial / antiviral solutions on affected seed area of eyelids?

=========================================================

  1. First and foremost you must use your proper judgement whether you want to continue with this method? Because this must be done with thorough precautions meaning making sure not to go overboard and avoid using solutions to reach inside of eyes. These are applied only on affected eyelids and never inside eyes.
  2. Make sure that you do this procedure at WASH BASIN because in case the solution goes into eye and you feel burning then you must immediately wash several times with water to avoid any damage.
  3. Make sure there is water around and is running in case you need it fast and urgent. Water taps must be checked that they are functional.
  4. I found that some of bacteria /virus can be killed just by applying brush (5ml-10ml) of H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide diluted to 2%) on seed area of eyelids are where you feel the pain most) and if that did not work then apply 1-2 drops of CLOVE OIL to affected seed areas. JUST 30 seconds to 1 minute of application of one of these 2 solutions shall suffice to kill the bacteria inside of a seed area.
  5. In case you feel burning of eye lids too much in case clove oil use then splash cold water and Apply baking soda powder (NOT BAKING POWDER) on eyelids to sooth them. In case of burning inside of an eye then use several splashed of water quickly.
  6. Once the pathogen is dead it will leave a small lump and pus which can be drained by regular use of hot compress on eyelids for few days. During hot compress put some pressure on eyelids.
  7. Continue to use hot compress on eyelids, turmeric powder on eyelids just before sleep, for next few days to get rid of lump.
  8. Applying Baking soda powder (not baking powder) on eyelid sooths the eyelids and you can avoid sizzling eyelids while you are on hot compress.
  9. I also recommend you to find and keep track of herbal / natural/Ayurvedic / Homeopathic ANTIBACTERIAL/ANTIVIRAL solutions that can be applied directly to stye next time it happens as that gives results more quick. Keep your research ON this matter and collect as much info as you can.

 

CASE STUDY END

OXYGEN THERAPY / Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) THERAPY to KILL PATHOGEN

========================================================

Hydrogen peroxide is water with an extra oxygen molecule bonded that reacts with bacteria, viruses and toxins. Well there you have it, 3 ways to kill bacteria, pathogens, viruses and toxins naturally. I have used usual h2o2 with STABLIZERS available in drug stores (6% diluted to 2% by adding 3 parts of water) The usual composition of H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) is listed below:

  • Baking soda – peroxide toothpaste (0.5%)
  • Contact lens sterilizer (2%)
  • Over-the-counter drug store Hydrogen Peroxide (3%)
  • Liquid detergent bleach (5%)
  • Hair bleach (7.5%)

It is this 2% H2O2 solution that we will use as eyelids skin is a SENSITIVE area and usual 3.5% or 6% H2O2 available in drug stores will have to be diluted with water to make it around 2%.

  • If you get 6% H2O2 solution then for every 5 ml of h2o2 add 15 ml or less of water to make it 2%. (6% /2=3 parts of water)
  • If you get 3% H2O2 solution then add for every 5ml of h2o2 add 7 ml or less of water to make it around 2%. (3% /2= 1.5 parts of water)
  • H2O2 in NOT TO BE put inside EYE but applied externally on affected eyelid making sure it gets absorbed in seed area and around.
  • Once you have a 2% h2o2 solution, take a Q tip or an ear bud with cotton wrapped at end and dissolve this in h2o2 (2%) solution. Rinse/Press this Q Tip on SEED AREA on eyelid and press it in such a way on eyelid that H2O2 gets absorbed through skin around SEED and area that is swelled. This is same as washing the eyelid with H2o2 solution making sure h2o2 is being absorbed through skin to REACH PATHOGEN. You would notice that PATHOGEN in seed is destroyed and you feel relief.

Applying h2o2 for stye can leave you with dry eye-lid syndrome. To avoid that either do not use H2o2 as remedy or do following to bring back eye-lid elasticity back. Take a Pinch of Red chillies powder Apply (hold press) to eyelids top and bottom. Repeat this few times (2-3 times) at least.

Cayenne pepper (Red chilies powder ) Detox For eyes
and frequent stye/chalazion issues

** Un-Processed Cayenne pepper is the only ingredient I found that repairs the damaged tissues on
** account of burns/ulcers and cayenne pepper is also used a master detox.
** Apply un-processed cayenne pepper directly on ulcer/burn to let is repair in just few hours.

Take a 60-90 ml container (glass preferably) and fill it with water
Add around 1/2 spoon of (un-processed) cayenne pepper to this water & mix it.
Un processed cayenne pepper can also be made at home by grinding whole cloves of red chilies in a mixer.
Processed cayenne pepper does not give optimum results hence you must use un-processed powder only.

now take this container of water mixed with cayenne pepper and dip your right eye into it and blink it at least 3-4 times
Do not take your eyes out of container until 3-4 blinks.
Now use your finger to close this right eye and repeat the above step with left eye.
Once done, now hold palm of hand on each and sleep on back. A slight palm pressure is a must on each eye.
You will notice the heat increasing for around 10-12 minutes and then slowly the heat will decrease
Wait for another 10 minutes till all the heat is gone

Repeat above steps every 20-25 minutes for 3 times at least once in a day. You must do this again next day.
You would have noticed that your eyes are clear of any blurriness and you see a bright view after this process.
The above process can be done once a month to bring brightness to vision

How to increase the holding power of eyelids

There are 2 things, one is brightness of eyes and other is holding power of eye.
The other thing that can be done to increase the power of eye lids which is
required to hold the vision is to do following:
*——Steps below to do every day once in morning and once in evening preferably along with exercises:–>>
First, Sleep on back
Use front 4 finger of each of your hand and start petting (slapping) your eye lids.
This must be done for around 150 (petting/slaps to eyelids) times in one session increasing the
petting/slapping strength at every count of 50.
If eyelids pain (initially) then you can stop petting for a day and restart again after pain is gone.
This process will bring elasticity back to your eye lids increasing the holding power of your vision thus improving it many-folds in long run

Above process for eyes along with breathing exercises shall make a lasting improvement on your eyes as well as regular health.
